一、 培养目标与基本要求(Training objectives and basic requirements)
培养目标(Training objectives):

二、学科、专业及研究方向简介(Introduction of discipline, major and research direction)
重庆大学车辆工程专业始建于上世纪40年代重庆大学机械科自动车组,为我国培养了第一代汽车人。重庆大学车辆工程专业拥有车辆工程博士学位授权点,车辆工程、动力机械及工程硕士学位授权点,是国家“211工程”、“985工程”重点建设学科。重庆大学车辆工程学科具有雄厚的师资力量,学院现有教授/博导22人,副教授14人,其中国家级有突出贡献的专家1人,长江学者特聘教授1人,重庆市百人计划1人,重庆市巴渝学者青年学者1人,新世纪优秀人才1人,重庆大学百人计划引进人才3人。
School of Automotive Engineering at Chongqing University was founded in the 1940s by the automatic vehicle group of the Mechanical Department of Chongqing University, which trained the first generation of automotive engineers for China. The vehicle engineering major of Chongqing University has a doctorate degree in vehicle engineering and a master degree in vehicle engineering, power machinery and engineering, and it is a key construction discipline of the national "211 project" and "985 project". Chongqing University's vehicle engineering discipline has strong faculty. The school currently has 22 professors/doctoral supervisors and 14 associate professors, including 1 National-Level Expert with outstanding contributions, 1 Changjiang Distinguished Professor, 1 Chongqing Bayu Scholars Young Scholar, 1 New Century Excellent Talent, 3 Introduced Scholars of Chongqing University “100 Talents Program”.
汽车工程学院以“2011计划”--重庆市自主品牌汽车协同创新中心、机械传动国家重点实验室,拥有国家重点学科1个、博士后流动站1个(共建)、博士点1个、硕士学位授权点2个,是学校“211工程”重点建设学科和“985工程”创新平台重点建设的研究基地,拥有一批国内领先的汽车研发和教学设备。本学科在车辆振动与噪声控制、车辆系统动力学与控制、车辆动力及传动系统、汽车主被动安全方面具有突出的特色与优势。
The School of Automotive Engineering has the "2011" plan - Chongqing Automotive Collaborative Innovation Center and the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Transmission, with 1 national key discipline, 1 post-doctoral mobile station (co-construction), 1 doctor's degree, and 2 master's degree authorization centers. It is a research base for the school's "211 Project" key disciplines and the "985 Project" innovation platform, and possesses a number of domestic leading automotive R&D(Research and Development) and teaching equipment. This subject has outstanding characteristics and advantages in vehicle vibration and noise control, vehicle system dynamics and control, vehicle power and transmission systems, and vehicle active and passive safety.
汽车工程学院将车辆工程学科建设成为一流学科为目标,瞄准国内外和区域发展需求,结合汽车“节能环保、安全可靠、智能网联、时尚舒适”的发展方向,根据汽车工程学院多年来的发展积累和基础,加强学科基础理论研究,开拓新兴学科及学科交叉领域的研究,学院凝练了以下4个主要学科方向:

(2)先进车辆动力系统与控制
(3)运载装备与高性能机电传动系统
(4)汽车创新设计与智能化
The School of Automotive Engineering aims to build the discipline of vehicle engineering into a first-class discipline. Aiming at domestic and international and regional development needs and combining the development direction of “energy-saving and environmental protection, safety and reliability, intelligent networking, and fashion and comfort” of automobiles, and based on the development accumulation and foundation of the School of Automotive Engineering over the years, strengthening the basic theoretical research of disciplines, and exploring research in emerging disciplines and interdisciplinary fields, the school has concluded the following 4 main subject directions:
(1) Vehicle dynamics and NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness)
(2) Advanced vehicle powertrain system and control
(3) Carrier equipment and high-performance electromechanical transmission system
(4) Automobile innovative design and intelligence
三、学制、学习年限与毕业学分(Education system, years of study and Graduation credits)
硕士生学制3年、学习年限2.5-3年。博士生(硕博连读生取得博士生学籍起)学制4年 、学习年限3-4年。
The Education system for master’s degree is 3 years, and the years of study is 2.5–3 years. The Education system for doctor's degree (from the time when the master-doctor combined program graduates obtain the doctoral status) is 4 years, and the years of study is 3–4 years.

四、课程及环节设置(Course and segment arrangement)
课程学分按16学时为一学分。硕士研究生的课程安排时间一般为1年。博士研究生的课程安排时间一般为0.5-1年。

2.培养环节(Cultivation Link)
(1)学术活动与思想教育(Academic activities and ideological education)
研究生需参加8次以上学术活动和思想教育活动,以激发、启迪学术创新思维,树立正确的学术价值取向。
Graduate students need to participate in more than 8 academic activities and ideological education activities to stimulate and inspire academic innovative thinking and establish the correct academic value orientation.
(2)文献综述与选题报告(Literature review and topic selection report)
文献阅读量不低于100篇,中文文献不低于40篇,文献阅读报告字数不低于1万5千字,选题在第三学期完成,由老师批阅并指导。
The reading volume of the literature is not less than 100, the Chinese literature is not less than 40, and the literature reading report is not less than 15,000 words, the topic should be completed in the third semester and will be reviewed and guided by the teacher.
(3)硕士中期考核(Master's mid-term assessment)
中期检查在第四学期完成;采用公开答辩的形式进行;由专家组给出考核意见;中期检查分合格和不合格两种,对于不合格的研究生,按专家组意见处理;中期检查的有关材料由学院存档。
The mid-term assessment will be completed in the fourth semester; it is conducted in the form of public replies; the evaluation opinions will be given by the expert group; the mid-term assessment is divided into two types: qualified and unqualified. For unqualified graduate students, the expert group’s opinions will be handled; the relevant materials of the mid-term inspection will be archived by the school.
(4)创新创业实践(Innovation and entrepreneurship practice)
积极支持学生参加创业实践活动。对于好的项目,学院给予经费资助。
Actively support students to participate in entrepreneurial practice activities. For good projects, the school provides financial support.
(5)博士生综合考试(Comprehensive examination for doctoral students)
在博士生课程全部结束后,学位论文开始之前对博士生进行一次由学院学术委员会组织的综合考核。
After the completion of the doctoral program, a comprehensive assessment organized by the academic committee of the school will be conducted on the students before the dissertation begins.
(6)博士生预答辩(Pre-defense for doctoral students)
博士生预答辩在博士学位论文送审前进行。要求完成学位论文工作的中间考核环节,取得的学术成果满足重庆大学的有关规定,并完成论文撰写。
The pre-defense of doctoral students should be conducted before the submission of the doctoral dissertation. It is required to complete the intermediate assessment link of the degree thesis work, the academic achievements obtained meet the relevant regulations of Chongqing University, and complete the thesis writing.
(7)国际学术交流(International academic exchange)
学院积极支持学生完成国际学术交流。
The school actively supports students to complete international academic exchanges.
五、培养指导方式(Training guidance method)
导师按照规定指导学生完成工作,指导学生完成学业论文的各项要求。
The tutor guides the students to complete the work according to the regulations and guides the students to complete the requirements of the academic papers.
六、学位论文要求(Dissertation requirements)
车辆工程全日制学术型研究生学位论文必须在导师指导下由研究生独立完成。
The full-time academic graduate dissertation of vehicle engineering must be completed independently by the graduate under the guidance of the supervisor.
1.论文选题(Project topic selection)
车辆工程全日制学术型研究生的学位论文应紧跟学科前沿,具有一定创新性,有利于培养学生科学研究能力。选题可源于基础研究、应用技术研究、工程开发与研究、工程软件或应用软件开发等。学位论文须研究生独立完成,要体现研究生综合运用车辆学科理论、方法和技术进行研究和解决问题的能力。
The dissertations of full-time academic graduate students in vehicle engineering should keep up with the frontiers of the subject and be innovative, which is conducive to cultivating students' scientific research capabilities. The topics can be selected from basic research, applied technology research, engineering development and research, engineering software or application software development, etc. The dissertation must be completed by the graduate student independently, and it must reflect the graduate student’s ability to comprehensively use the theory, methods and technology of the vehicle discipline to research and solve problems
2.开题报告(Opening report)
研究生在撰写学位论文前必须进行开题报告和方案论证,说明选题的目的、意义、国内外目前研究现状、完成课题的条件和可行性、课题实施方案、研究的创新点、预期的进程等,并在学科点内进行开题报告。原则上,开题报告应在学位论文答辩前一年完成。
Before writing a dissertation, graduate students must conduct a topic report and program demonstration, explaining the purpose and significance of the topic selection, the current research status at home and abroad, the conditions and feasibility of completing the topic, the topic implementation plan, the innovation points of the research, the expected process, etc, and make a report in the subject point. In principle, the opening report should be completed one year before the defense.
3.论文格式及规范(Dissertation format and specifications)
1)研究生学位论文应用中文撰写,硕士学位论文应有一定的技术难度,字数为2-5万,博士学位论文应有一定的理论深度及创新,字数不少于5万。
2)论文写作要求概念清晰、结构合理、层次分明、文理通顺、版式规范。
3)论文撰写格式应符合《重庆大学研究生学位论文格式规范标准》。
1) The dissertation for graduate students should be written in Chinese, the dissertation for master's degree should have a certain degree of technical difficulty, with a word count of 20,000 to 50,000, and the dissertation for doctoral degree should have a certain theoretical depth and innovation with no less than 50,000 words.
2) Essay writing requires clear concepts, reasonable structure, clear levels, smooth art and science, and standard layout.
3) The format of the dissertation should conform to the Standards for the Format of Graduate Dissertations of Chongqing University.
4.论文学术要求及答辩条件(Dissertation academic requirements and defense conditions)
1) 全日制学术型硕士研究生在专业学术刊物上发表或录用1篇及以上论文,或在国际学术会议、全国性行业学术年会上口头报告,才能申请硕士学位答辩。硕士学位论文原则上由学院组织盲评或集中答辩。集中答辩分专业(系)进行,时间为每年的5月份和11月份。
1) Full-time academic postgraduates can apply for a master's degree defense if they publish or accept one or more paper in a professional academic journal, or give an oral report at an international academic conference or national industry academic conference. In principle, the school organizes a blind review or centralized defense of the master's degree thesis. The centralized defense is divided into majors (departments), and the time is May and November each year.
2) 博士研究生在相关学科SCI或者EI期刊上发表学术论文2篇及以上才能申请博士学位答辩。其中:1篇应为SCI三区及以上,且至少1篇以研究生本人为第一作者;行业权威期刊“机械工程学报”(中文或英文版)可替代SCI三区期刊,但要求同时获国家发明专利授权1项及以上。为加强国际交往能力,博士研究生须发表1篇以上外文学术文章。
2) Doctoral students can only apply for a PhD defense if they have published two or more academic papers in the SCI or EI journals of the relevant discipline. Among them: one paper should be SCI three-zone or above, and at least one paper should be the first author of the graduate student; the industry authoritative journal "Journal of Mechanical Engineering" (Chinese or English edition) can replace the SCI three-zone journal, but it is required to obtain 1 or more national invention patent authorizations at the same time. To strengthen the ability of international communication, doctoral students must publish at least one foreign language academic paper.
5.中期考核(Mid-term assessment)
车辆工程全日制学术型研究生一般在课程和开题完成后进行中期考核工作,主要考核学生是否修满规定的学分和通过开题报告。凡中期考核不合格者,视情况延期申请学位论文答辩。
Full-time academic graduate students in vehicle engineering generally conduct mid-term assessment work after the course and opening report are completed, mainly to assess whether students have completed the prescribed credits and passed the opening report. Those who fail to pass the mid-term assessment will be postponed to apply for the dissertation defense if necessary.
6.论文评审与答辩的组织实施(Organization and implementation of dissertation review and defense)
车辆工程专业学位研究生必须完成本培养方案中规定的所有环节,修满规定学分,成绩合格,方可申请参加学位论文答辩。
Graduate students majoring in vehicle engineering must complete all the links specified in this training program, obtain the required credits, and obtain qualified results before they can apply for dissertation defense.
七、学位论文评阅与答辩 (Review and defense of theses)
车辆工程全日制学术型硕士研究生答辩前,学位论文应通过2位车辆学科或相关领域专家的评阅。学位论文的评审应着重审核学生综合运用车辆科学理论、方法和技术手段解决实际问题的能力;审核学位论文工作的成果或进展、难度和工作量等;注重考核论文的创新性、实用性;审核其创造的经济效益和社会效益。
Before the defense of the full-time academic postgraduates in vehicle engineering, their theses shall be reviewed by two experts in vehicle discipline or related fields. The evaluation of these should focus on the ability of students to solve practical problems by using vehicle science theory, methods and technical means comprehensively, review the achievements or progress, difficulty and workload of theses work, focus on innovation and practicality of assessment papers, review the economic and social benefits they create.
车辆工程全日制学术型研究生答辩委员会应有3~5位车辆学科或相关领域专家组成。答辩委员须有3位为正高级职称(3人答辩委员会须2位正高级职称专家),答辩委员会主席须有正高级职称,评阅人不得兼任答辩委员。车辆工程全日制学术型研究生学位论文以过半(3票)赞成票,3人答辩委员会须全票作为论文通过答辩要求。
The defense committee of full-time academic postgraduate of vehicle engineering should consist of 3~5 experts in vehicle disciplines or related fields. The defense committee should have three members with senior professional titles (three members of the defense committee shall have two experts with senior professional titles). The chairman of the defense committee shall have a senior title, and the reviewer shall not concurrently serve as the defense member. The theses of full-time academic postgraduate students in vehicle engineering shall be approved by more than half (3 votes) of the votes, and the full vote of the 3-member defense committee shall be taken as the requirement for the thesis to pass the defense.
八、毕业及学位授予(Graduation and Degree Award)
车辆工程全日制学术型硕士/博士研究生完成规定的培养环节,修满培养方案规定的学分,成绩合格;完成学位论文工作,通过论文答辩;经过学位评定委员会审定达到培养目标;则准予毕业并授予工学硕士/博士学位。
Full-time academic master / doctoral students in vehicle engineering complete the prescribed training task, complete the credits specified in the training plan, and pass the examination; complete the thesis, pass thesis defense; after the degree evaluation committee has confirmed that the postgraduates have achieved the training goal, then they are approved to graduate and are awarded Master/PhD Engineering degree.
